    Udupi SP's false FB acc. detected

    A false Facebook account in the name of Udupi's Police Superintendent has been detected. The account has reportedly been used to contact the public for illicit purposes. The SP, Hariram Shankar, stated that people should not respond to messages received from such accounts and only follow the official account "SP Udupi." He further advised that when the public detects such accounts, they must report them to Facebook.com or to the nearest police station.
